December 14th World Energy conservation day has been observed by Department of Chemistry by conducting a one day seminar. The theme of the Program was to enrich an awareness among students to Conserve energy and energy sources for the future generation. “Energy saved is Energy earned”. Resource person for the seminar was Dr. Ambily Jacob K (HOD) Department of Chemistry, Mercy College Palakkad.
The inaugural session started at 11.AM by Prayer. The welcoming was done by Ms. Haritha Gopinath (HOD , Dept. Of Chemistry) The inauguration was done by Dr. Ambily Jacob. K (HOD, Dept. Of Chemistry, Mercy College, Palakkad) presidential address was rentered by Dr. Abrar K. J. (Principal ,The Elegant Arts and Science College, Palakkad), felicitations were given by Ms. Nishana T. K. (IQAC Coordinator), Dr. Sajeev R. (Asst. Prof. Dept. Of Chemistry), Ms. Ajitha K. R. (HOD, Dept. of English).The session ended by 12:30pm and Next session began by 1:30 pm students from 3rd year B.Sc. Chemistry Presented their presentations and the session ended by 3:00 pm
